Background
The Swiss International School Dubai (SISD) uses the latest technology to create a stimulating and exciting learning experience for its over 1,800 learners. Most students are from Europe, but the student body remains diverse with more 100 nationalities being represented throughout the school.
Thanks to its healthy eating, holistic living and positive environments, the school was awarded the Happy and Healthy School Award by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). SISD has boarding facilities with full, weekly, and flexi accommodation available to students from ages 11 to 18.

Curriculum
SISD offers the International Baccalaureate programme from Pre-K through to Grade 12. Three streams are available: English, bilingual English/French and bilingual English/German. The Swiss Baccalaureate is available as an option from Grade 6 upwards. In Early Years and Primary Years, all students study the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.
- Early Years: Pre-K to K2
- Primary Years: Grades 1 to 5
- Swiss Baccalaureate: Grades 6 to 12
- International Baccalaureate: Middle Years Programme (Grades 6 to 10) followed by either the IB Diploma Programme (Grades 11 and 12), the IB Career-related Programme (Grades 11 and 12) or the BTEC pathway (Grades 10 to 12)
