Background

Deira International School (DIS) is a private, not-for-profit school in Dubai Festival City, founded in 2005. It has a diverse student body made up of more than 80 nationalities. The school aims to provide a high-quality international education which remains sensitive to UAE culture and tradition.

The primary and secondary schools each have their own well-equipped building with a library, art block, music rooms, and computer and science laboratories. The school also has a gym, a business studies centre and a grass sports field.

DIS follows the English National Curriculum and later the IB Diploma Programme in Years 12 to 13.
