Background

Having opened its doors in 1986, GEMS Modern Academy (GMA) has gained a good reputation among expat parents looking to place their child in an Indian-curriculum school. The school also offers the globally recognised International Baccalaureate.

GMA has consistently received a rating of 'outstanding' from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) for several years.

The school has about 4,000 pupils from Kindergarten up to Grade 12. Facilities are modern, and the school is well equipped with ICT suites, science labs, learning centres, and libraries. Sports facilities include basketball courts, football fields, a gym, pools, and tennis courts.
