Daniel Saindon brings over five years of editorial experience to his role as an Online Editor at Expat Arrivals, from proofreading student newspapers to making subtitles for movies and shows to his current role editing expat content. His education in philosophy and literature and his broad work experience in IT, administration, and teaching have sharpened his communication and research skills and his instinct for what needs a deeper look.

Daniel’s goal is to give prospective expats the confidence to start starting: enough practical information to begin their expat journey without drowning in details or starving on thin overviews. He does this through destination guide updates and our monthly newsletter (make sure to subscribe!), and he has a special focus on visa and work permit changes. Daniel particularly enjoys our expat interviews (check out our Interview Form!) and digging into the trickier details to enhance our guides.
